Trekking Equipment List

Equipment for Trekking

There is a lot of specialized equipment that is used for trekking, depending on the climate and terrain. In general, you will need sturdy, comfortable shoes or boots, plenty of layers to keep you warm, sunscreen and sunglasses, a hat, a first-aid kit, a flashlight, a map, and a compass. If you are trekking in an area with mosquitos and insects, you may also need insect spray. In any case, it is always a good idea to have a guided trek. Precious Adventures has been organizing such treks as per your interest and demands. It has programs with planned routes and expected return date before setting out. With the proper preparation and equipment, trekking can be a safe and enjoyable way to explore the great outdoors.
