Get up close to the world’s highest mountain and transverse the spirituality of Buddhism on the Everest Base Camp Trek. The Everest Base Camp Trek is both adventurous and spiritual. You get to transverse through the Himalayan landscape passing through lush forest and glacial plains.

You get panoramic views of Everest (8,848.86 meters),Lhotse (8,516 meters), Nuptse (7,861 meters), and Ama Dablam (6,812 meters), among many others.The trek also allows you to understand why Sherpas closely connect with nature.The journey resembles a pilgrimage because of Buddhism elements along the trails.

The Everest Base Camp Trek takes 17 days to complete. Flight to Lukla will be on the second day, accompanied by a hike to Phakding.You will reach Namche on the third day, passing several suspension bridges. Lively encounters with both yaks and Sherpas will make your day.On the tenth day, you will trek through Khumjung, Tyangboche, Pangboche, Dingboche, Thukla, and Labuche to reach Gorakshep and then ultimately trek to the Base Camp.
These places offer a visit to many ancient Buddhist monasteries. For instance, Tyangboche has the biggest monastery in the Khumbu region. Pangboche has an old monastery. It also has the highest located primary school which you will visit. Likewise, Labuche has a memorial park of climbers where you will pay homage to the fallen climbers. Here the paths to EBC and the three-pass trek separate.

Today is the day all this momentum has been building along – the ultimate trek to EBC through Gorakshep. The Khumbu Icefall and the Khumbu Tse (6,636 meters) are beautifully visible from EBC. Today, you will be amazed by the sunrise view of Kalapatthar. The view of Everest bathed in the morning glory will be a lifetime memory. Now we hike back to Lukla, which will take three days passing through Phortse and Jorsale. You can also give Phortse wall climbing a try.

You will fly back to Kathmandu the next day. On the sixteenth day, you will spend shopping and sightseeing.On the seventeenth day, you will return to your home.

TRIP ITINERARY

After arriving in Kathmandu, our representative will welcome and drop up to Hotel. After arriving to hotel you will be served with welcome drinks. There will be short briefing about our trekking in the evening.
After the flight to Lukla, we will meet our trekking crews (porter and assistant guide) in lukla. From Lukla our 3 hrs of trek begin up to Phakding. On the way to Phakding, we will pass along the dudh koshi bay through cultural Sherpa village, mani wall, monastery, Buddhist prayers wheels, Buddhist village and many more.
Day 4 begins from Phakding to Namche with a trivial way up to Manju which is gate way to Sagarmatha National Park. We will have our light lunch at Jorsalle. From this location, we will pass famous Hilarry Bridge through Dudhkoshi Bridges, rhododendron trees, enormous firs and pine trees and many more. We will take short break at Top Dada from where we may see Mt Everest and other mountains as well as Dudhkoshi Valleys during nice weather. After an hour we will reach our todays destination Namche which is known as the gate way of Mt Everest treks.
We have one more days in Namche for the acclimatization of high altitude. On this day you can visit nearer museum, sunrise and sunset view, Buddhist monastery and enjoy with coffee and bakery in the town. Or after having breakfast you can go for a hiking to Khumjung, Khunde and back to Namche which is good for altitude sickness to hike high and sleep low.
From Namche Bazaar, we will trek up to the flowing glacial waters of the DudhKoshi with exceptional views of the range of gigantic Himalaya’s scene of Mt. Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, AmaDablam etc. The track moves further and we may see wild lives such as pheasant, musk deer and so on. After that the lane takes us downward to DudhKoshi River. We will have light lunch at Phungi Thanga. We will get the way up all the way passing through pine as well as juniper woods until Tengboche. We will participate in Puja at Tengboche Monastery which is one of the famous monastery and Buddhist school in Khumbu Valley. In the month of November, the famous Mani Rimdu festival is celebrated with the participation of monks and laymen.

Today we reach above 4000plus meter to Imja Valley. We walk through the forest of birch, conifer, and rhododendrons trees. After crossing Dudhkoshi River, we will reach Pangboche village. From here many trekkers go for day hiking to Amadablem base camp. We will go for lunch to Somare. After having lunch we will continue walk for 2 hrs to Dingboche through windy valley.
Today we will go hiking upto 5000m and back to Dinguche. It is always best to hike high and sleep in low for the high altitude sickness. We enjoy the nice view of Amadablem and many more. Drinking coffee and relax in Dinbuche. OR we walk to Chhukung. We may meet island peak climbing peoples. Then, we will have lunch and back to Dingbuche.
After having breakfast, we will walk enjoying the nice view of beautiful snow capped mountains like cholatse, Tawoche, Arkum tashi and many more. We walk through gradual uphill to Dhukla. After lunch we climb up windy path to Memorial park. There are many stone made Stupa and Mani Wall in the name of people who was died in mountains. After walking three quarter of hour, we will reach in Labuche. Stay in Labuche.
Today is most waiting day in our whole trip to Everest base camp. After having breakfast in Labuche we continue to next place to Gorakshep where we will have light lunch.Than we walk further through rocky trail on Khumbu glacier to everest base camp. Our dream will convert into reality. We will take the pictures and back to Gorakshep for the overnight.
Kalapathar is one of the famous places in everest base camp trek which lies in almost 5600m. In the nice weather, we will see the best view of Mount Everest and neighboring mountains and Khumbu glacier. After that we will be back to Pheriche for the overnight.
We will continue our journey to Namche through upper Pangbuche where we can visit an old monastery and typical Sherpa village and people. After Pangbuche, we will take other trail further three hours to Phortse. It is a famous village because the many everest summiteers are from this village. The wheat and potato field, typical Sherpa houses, chhorteen, Monastery are the attraction of this village. We see mt. Cho-yo from this village. Overnight in Phortse.
We continue walking to Namche enjoying the nice rhododendron, pine forest and mountains. We reach again about 4000meters high to Mongla danda. The beautiful village Phortse, Tyangbuche monastery and Khumjung village can be seen from here. We forther continue to Namche via Kangjuma. Overnight in Namche.
It is a challenging day in whole trip because of long walking distances. Today we cross Dudha koshi river through the Hillary bridge as well as another similar types of bridges. We will have lunch in Phakding and continue our journey to Lukla. Today is the last evening with our porter and assistant guides. In evening we will have small thanks giving program to our trekking crews in Lukla.
It takes 35munites from lukla to Kathmandu. The flight could be in the morning or in noon. In Kathmandu we will have relax day in Kathmandu.
The weather in mountain is always changing. So for incase if the weather is not nice in Lukla, the aero plane does not fly. For this reason we have extra day as a reserve day. When our flight is on schedule, we will do sightseeing in Kathmandu. We recommend Pasupatinath and Boudhanath. It is facultative.

 Accommodation and meals

Staying in Kathmandu will be standard room with bed and breakfast plan and simple teahouse during the trekking. We will have dinner and breakfast in teahouse and lunch on the way. In Kathmandu, only breakfast is included. For Lunch and dinner you can calculated about 10-15 dollar per meal.

Staff arrangement

Our goal is to make the tour successful, enjoyable and memorable. That is why we hire very experienced, helpful and skillful trekking leader as well as trekking crews. The Trekking leader should take trekking guide training, wilderness first aid training, knowledge of flora and Fauna as well as strong communication skills.

Similarly we hire mostly trekking crews from local areas. They are well paid. Their food, accommodation and equipment are arranged by company.

Travel Insurance

The personal travel insurance is compulsory when you travel to Nepal. It should cover minimum high altitude sickness, accident, illness and stolen, lost and delayed baggage. you should know that where you are trekking or climbing and how high are the trekking routes are and the policy should cover the evacuation by the Helicopter in emergency.  We do not arrange travel insurance of travelling partner. We organize only the insurance of trekking crews.
